KUCHING: Liansin will be holding its Wellness Day this Sunday from 9am until 2pm at Dewan Serbagunan SJK Chung Hua Serian.
The campaign, initiated on January 1, 2004, is now in its 14th year. It is supported by Sarawak General Hospital (SGH) Blood Bank as well as various corporations, shopping malls and the media.
Various activities will be held during the Wellness Day including a 24-festive drum performance by SJK Chung Hua Serian students, a blood donation campaign and a kids’ colouring contest with SJK Chung Hua Serian and Pasaraya Sin Joon Miaw.
There will be a cooking demonstration by A&A Buffalo Company and Zumba performances by Tyng Dance Academy.
This year, Everpro Sdn Bhd is sponsoring the lucky draw prizes.
Serian District Diabetic Association has invited special guest speaker, Dr. Stephanie Onnasis Ak Pressie to speak on the health topic, “Diabetes Health Knowledge”.
Liansin Trading Sdn Bhd will be setting up its sampling booth where visitors will be able to join its lucky draw and test Haryana rice as well as its photo booth where they can take fun photographs with the company mascot, Jimmy. The mascot will be distributing free balloons during the event and presents from Myfm.
Meanwhile, every successful blood donor will also receive a free 5-kg pack UncleTan Premium Rice from Liansin.
