ACCORDING to Tanjong Datu assemblywoman Datuk Jamilah Anu, Tanjong Datu is recommending financial institutions to place Lundu on their map to further develop Lundu.
“I believe Lundu’s development will accelerate in line with the advent of e-commerce and the digital economy initiatives,” she said during her debate speech on the Supply (2019) Bill yesterday.
She also recommended that the post office be improved to cater for the eventual increase in postal traffic.
Jamilah also touched on Rural Transformation Projects (RTP) and the upgrading of poor houses programme (‘Program Penambahbaikan Rumah Miskin’).
“RTP was introduced two years ago and it has left a positive impact on the people.
“We are very fortunate that the state has the capacity to allocate a sum of RM5 million per constituency per year,” she said.
