LUBOK ANTU: A 34-year-old man was trapped and burnt to death when the car he was driving crashed by the roadside at KM44 Jalan Sri Aman-Sarikei recently.
Lubok Antu District Acting Police chief, Inspector Demas Yahya said the accident occurred near the Lubok Antu junction at around 3.30am last Thursday.
“Early investigation revealed the deceased was identified as Satuninus Liew Wei Feng, from Sarikei, and he was believed to be heading to Lubok Antu from Kuching,” he said here on Friday.
He said the body was taken to Sri Aman Hospital for a post mortem and the case was being investigated under Section 41(1) of the Road Transport Act, 1987.
