KUCHING: A mentally unsound man was found dead in a hut behind the Sungai Apong Wet Market here, yesterday.
When a passer-by saw the man at 10am yesterday, he thought that the man was sleeping. But when he returned in the afternoon he still saw the man in the same position.
When the man walked closer, he discovered that the man’s legs have turned black.
The police and an ambulance were then called to the scene. After checking paramedics confirmed that the man had died.
No identification papers were found on the man but vegetable sellers at the market know his family members.
The body was later brought to the Sarawak General Hospital’s morgue for a post mortem.
