KUCHING: A suspect was arrested for peddling drugs on Thursday at about 8.20pm by Serian police. The suspect aged 38 was arrested at Serian night market and upon inspection, a black bag was found. The bag contained crystal-like substances believed to be methamphetamine.
The police went on to check his house at Taman Pasir and found a container labelled Candy B Complex.
In the container, there were 10 transparent plastic packages containing the crystals of methamphetamine. The drugs were believed to be valued at RM900. A urine test was carried out and the suspect was found to be drug positive.
He has been remanded for four days for further investigation. The suspect may be charged for peddling drugs under Section 39 A of the Dangerous Drug Act 1952.
