MIRI: Police on Saturday night nabbed a 33 year-old man suspected of house breaking after the police received tipoff from his older sister on his wrongdoing.
The arrest was made around 9.45pm at a house in Jalan Jati 2, Senadin.
According to sources, the woman was puzzled after her brother brought suspicious items into their house that night around 9.30pm.
Amongst those items were a refrigerator, a washing machine, a small dining table and a chair.
The stolen items estimated to be worth around RM2,000.
Sources added that the woman suspected that her brother had broken into their next door neighbour in Jalan Jati 2, as the house was left vacant for the past few months, prompting her to call up the neighbour.
The neighbour immediately called up the police for assistance.
Acting on the report lodged, police arrested the suspect to assist into their probe on the case.
