MIRI : Miri Malaysian Re d Crescent Society and various co-organisers will be holding a mass blood donation at Level 1, E-Mart Riam this Sunday, December 17 between 9.30am and 2pm This is an annual event to build up the blood stocks before the Christmas and New Year festive season.
Members of the public are urged to support the campaign. People of all blood types are requested to donate. However, those with blood type A and O are especially requested to come forward.
The target for the blood donation is 80 pints. The co-organisers and sponsors are Miri Hospital Blood Bank , Persatuan Berawan Sarawak, Miri Indian Association, Miri Tai Poo Association, Rotary Club of Miri Oil Town, Persatuan Kayan Sarawak Cawangan Miri, Persautuan Me lanau Miri , Persatuan Melayu Miri, Tuna Ayam Brand and Miri Bahai Centre.
