KUCHING: A suspect aged 24 was beaten up after he attempted to molest a married woman in her bedroom.
The suspect went to a house at Kpg Tambirat Hilir, Asajaya, at 2.30 am on Tuesday and tried to sexually assault the victim, aged 29.
As such the victim screamed prompting her husband and a brother-in-law to apprehend the suspect. He was then beaten up.
Later the suspect was handed over to the police and his urine tested positive for drug.
Besides the molest case, he was also investigated under Section 15(1)(a) of Dangerous Drug Act 1952.
