More innovative and creative civil servants by 2050

KOTA SAMARAHAN : National integration involving the exchange of federal officers from Sarawak to serve in Peninsular Malaysia and from the Peninsula to serve in the state has been implemented smoothly.

Sarawak Federal Secretary, Datuk Mansor Man said it was the best approach towards attaining the National Transformation 2050 (TN50) goal.

“I see from day to day that our ties and cooperation with the Sarawak State Secretary’s Office is also getting better and being enhanced further,” he told reporters after launching the Innovation Roadshow (INNOYouth) programme in conjunction with the Sarawak State Level Innovation Week celebration in Intan Sarawak Region here on Monday.

Asked on the discipline of federal officers serving in Sarawak, he said there were no major disciplinary problems reported so far.

However, he added the Sarawak Federal Secretary’s Office welcomed complaints from the public on the misconduct of civil servants. Meanwhi le he said among the TN50 goals was to produce more innovative and creative civil servants by 2050 in order to achieve a developed nation status by then.
