KUCHING: Sarawak Malaysian Armed Forces Veterans Association (PVTMS) held its 7th Annual General Meeting and election for new office bearers for year 2018-2021 at Bukavu Hall, Penrissen Camp near here, yesterday. The meeting was declared open by Commander of the 3rd Infantry Brigade, Brigadier-General Bustaman Haji Mat Zin.
Also present was president of the association, Thomas Ling Kui Eng. According to Ling, the association held 74 activities last year and proposed 11 motions to the Ministry of Defence.
“Our association was acknowledged for being the most active and commended by other associations and veterans club through the nation, “Hence, it is the responsibility of our members to uphold our association’s image so that it remains as the best in nation,” he said.
