MUKAH: Three students from MRSM Mukah scored straight A’s in this year’s PT3 examination.

The three students are Alexander Sureng Saut, Marcella Sebi Juing and Hendra Lajang Suyau.

However, school principal Zuraida Zaidi said that this year’s results showed a decline in the number of straight A scorers compared to last year.

“This year our GPM is 1.7749 and last year was better with 1.5429. All 122 candidates scored A’s in their history and geography subjects,” she said.

She revealed that the two subjects that were considered to have gotten in the way of most of the students to score straight A’s were mathematics and science.

“These two subjects were said to be very tough,” she said.

However, she revealed that the school recorded an improvement in Bahasa Malaysia (oral) and living skills (Kemahiran Hidup Bersepadu).

Regardless, MRSM Mukah is still considered the top school in the district in terms of PT3 results.
