KUCHING: A man went missing after climbing Mt Singai, Bau on Monday morning.
According to a friend who lodged a report on Monday afternoon, he said five of them climbed Mt Singai starting about 8 am.
At 9.15 am, they received a message through Wechat from the victim saying, “I finally reach where I want to be.” It was followed by another statement that said, “Today is good, tomorrow is better and it will be better after that.”
At 4pm they failed to see their friend and went to conduct a search. They failed to find him and lodged a police report.
Yesterday, firemen combed Mt Singai to conduct a search and rescue but failed to find the missing person.
