LUNDU: An odd-job worker was yesterday arrested by police for allegedly abusing his daughter.

Lundu District Police chief, DSP Wong Chee Keong said the 18-year-old was picked up at a house in Kampung Opek around 10.00am yesterday.

Wong said police were also trying to determine if the mother of the 1 year and 11 months old toddler was involved in the incident.

Last Sunday night, a doctor from the Sarawak General Hospital lodged a police report after finding that the girl sustained broken arms and legs.
