MIRI: A middle aged woman got the scare of her life when she discovered a one-metre long snake slithering into her bedroom on Tuesday.
The terrifying incident reportedly happened at a house in Hitchii Garden, Jalan Riam here around 4pm.
It was made to understand that the 48-year-old woman was resting inside her bedroom when the snake appeared.
“It was such a scary moment for me, as I didn’t know what to do,” she said.
Although she was petrified, the woman said she was able to grab her cellphone and called the Malaysian Civil Defence Force (APM) for assistance.
Two APM personnel arrived at the location at 4.30pm and they managed to capture the snake in less than 15 minutes.
According to the complainant, she believed that the snake might have gained entry into her bedroom via the washroom.
“It was my first encounter with a snake,” she said.
