KUCHING: Police recovered a stolen Hilux within an hour after it went missing recently. The vehicle was reported stolen in the morning at a house along Airport Road. After receiving the report, police went to conduct a survey at an oil palm plantation and found the missing Hilux.

The suspect was also ferrying two motorcycles which were later confirmed to be stolen items.

When he saw the police, the suspect abandoned the vehicle and ran into the jungle. Police believed the suspect was from Indonesia. They also found tools used for breaking into houses and a dangerous weapon. The stolen vehicle and motorcycles were sent to Bau police station.
