SIMUNJAN: More than 200 runners participated in the ‘Larian Merdeka Gunung Ngeli’ on Thursday in conjunction with the Merdeka eve.
The 5km run, which started from Padang Central to the foot of Mount Ngeli was also joined by Batang Sadong Member of Parliament Dato Sri Hajah Nancy Shukri and Simunjan Assemblyman Awla Dris.
Various side events are also organised including singing contest and lucky draw. Also present was Simunjan District Officer Abdul Khalid Manap.
