KUCHING: Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) candidate for the Petra Jaya seat, Datuk Ir Dr Nor Irwan Ahmat Nor launches the five-point election manifesto to capture the Petra Jaya parliamentary constituency in the General Election. The five major points in the manifesto are, firstly, to create enough high-income jobs for the locals.

The second point is to increase the monthly household income, followed by the third which is to increase the chances of people owning land or affordable housing. The fourth point is to facilitate and regulates the construction or improvement of the basic infrastructure to be of better quality. Meanwhile, the fifth point is to reinforce the security system and public order to be free of crime.

“The Petra Jaya election Manifesto contains five-points that I pledge to fulfill within five years if appointed as a Member of Parliament,” he said at the launch of the Petra Jaya Pakatan Harapan Manifesto. He said he has been going to the ground for over a year to meet communities in the DUN constituencies of Satok, Tupong and Semariang.

“I pledge that not even one community in Petra Jaya area will be left behind in any aspect,” he said. Commenting further on the manifesto, he said he was targeting 10,000 job opportunities at Petrajaya with reasonable salary, especially in the private sector.

“In order to address the rising cost of living, I target the household income in Petra Jaya to be increased to reach RM3,000 per month,” he said. He said he was determined to increase the opportunity of Petra Jaya residents to own land and house through the “One House, One Family” or “One Plot, One Family”.
