SARATOK: Sejiwa Senada, a popular programme jointly organised by the state and federal governments, will be held here this week (April 21-22).
More than 100 booths from various sectors will be available to assist the public.
The programme enables the local community to understand more about the various types of services available as well as to seek advice from government agencies, non-governmental organisations (NGOs) and government-linked companies (GLCs).
According to a media statement from the State Public Communication and Protocal Unit, besides exhibiting development projects there will also be sales of local products, lucky draws and a concert featuring popular singers.
Chief Minister Datuk Patinggi Abang Johari Tun Openg will officiate the opening of the programme on Saturday.
Program Sejiwa Senadai is a State Government initiative to be closer to the people by bringing all the services available in line with the tagline, Kerajaan Bersama Rakyat.
The grand prize for the lucky draw is a Perodua Axia. Other prizes include motorcycles, tv sets, electrical appliances and so on.
Among the artistes at the concert will be Jay Jay, Bob AF, Zee Zee and popular singers like Ricky Andrewson, Ricky El and Melissa Francis.
