As a part of the greening initiative, the Festival now requires all festival vendors to use biodegradable tableware and also implement a waste management programme, with recycling and food waste bins throughout the festival site to collect and later process the waste into organic animal feed, topsoil and biodiesel.

This year, a DJ session will be introduced to end each night presentation, and will be held at the Escobar in Damai Central. The event is supported by the Ministry of Tourism and Culture Malaysia, Ministry of Tourism, Arts, Culture, Youth and Sports Sarawak and endorsed by Tourism Malaysia.
