KUCHING: A security guard lodged a police report after he discovered RM25,000 worth of electric cables missing from his workplace last Tuesday evening.
The complainant, who works at a factory at Demak Laut, said he was patrolling the vicinity of the premises when he discovered the cables which were kept at the godown were missing at around 7.00pm.
Meanwhile, a self-employed man from Kampung Gersik lodged a police report after finding three bags of cement missing from his car porch at 6.00am on Tuesday.
The victim, in his report, said he believed that one of his neighbours was the culprit.
Police were investigating both cases.
