SIBU: Sibu Hospital Blood Bank once again welcomes members of the public to donate blood as the hospital is facing a shortage.
The blood bank’s assistant information officer Lily Sinta invited members of the public to come forward to donate to ensure that they would always have enough blood to cope with the demand.
“Members of the public are encouraged to go to the blood bank (Room No. 55) at Sibu Hospital during office hours.
“Our operating hours from Mondays to Thursdays are from 8am until 12.30pm and 2pm until 4.30pm.
“As for Fridays, we are operating from 8am until 11.15am and 2.15pm until 4.30pm,” she said.
She added that the blood bank is closed on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays unless an appointment has been made.
