Sim: ‘I’ll fulfill my promises if I win,’

KUCHING: Barisan Nasional (BN) candidate for Stampin, Datuk Dr Sim Kui Hian, calls on voters especially the Chinese community in Stampin Parliamentary Constituency to refer to his  personal commitment and said that he will not disappear but will fully fulfill his promises if he wins.

Sim pointed out during a press conference at Sarawak United People’s Party (SUPP) Batu Kawah Branch, Monday.

He expressed his hope that the Chinese voters in Stampin will not  be easily manipulated by the opposition who is misleading the people with fake and false information.

“The DAP (Democratic Action Party) for Stampin and Kuching until today have no manifesto for their area, therefore, we don’t know what are they fighting for and what are the development that they will give to their voters?,

“If voters vote for BN, I am prepared to table what I have tabled in DUN to parliament, especially in uplifting the Chinese community in Sarawak,” said Sim while stating that he has five strategic action for Sarawak Chinese.

The Local Government and Housing Minister, also called on the Chinese voters to take into account his performance and achievement as Batu Kawah assemblyman where he has been fully committed in bringing development and helping the people in the constituency since he was elected in 2016.

“I hope they can assess my personal character and achievements so far even though I’ve only been serving for two years,” he said.

Sim also said that the people have always been manipulated by DAP with issues regarding federal and the state governments’ jurisdiction.

“People have to be clear that the school, fire engines, police, hospital are all from Federal government, while DID (Drainage and Irrigation Department) and Housing are partly the state’s as well as the  federal’s, he said.
