 SIBU: SMK Sacred Heart here was among the top eight schools in Sarawak with excellent SPM 2017 results.

SMK Sacred Heart obtained an average school grade (GPS) of 2.98 with a pass rate of 98.51 per cent.

A total of 202 students from the school sat for the SPM 2017 examination.

The 10 students who scored 11As in the SPM 2017 examination are Ramon Ting Zhi Yuan (9A+, 2A), Ling Zhe Heng (8A+, 2A, 1A-),  Loh Jia Cheng (8A+, 1A,  2A-), Sim Kah Hou (8A+, 2A, 1A-), Jeffery Sia Ming Hong (6A+, 2A, 3A-), Tony Hii Siu Siong (5A+,6A), Sia You Seng (5A+, 3A, 3A-), Low Ngie Pyn (4A+,3A, 4A-), Joshua Wong Cheng Bin (4A+,3A, 4A-) and Yeo Deng Hong (3A+,3A, 5A-).

The 10As scorers are Charles Ling (8A+,2A-), Gilbert Wong (7A+,2A, 1A-), Marcus Loh (6A+,2A, 2A-), Benjamin Law (6A+,1A, 3A-), Clarence Ting (6A+,3A, 1A-), Joseph Siet (5A+,2A, 3A-), Kelvin Lee (5A+,2A, 3A-), Ting Jing (5A+,2A, 3A-), Jonathan Wong (5A+,2A, 3A-), Alan Wong (3A+,5A, 2A-).

Sixty-six students scored 5As and above.

The SPM 2017 result slips were presented to the students yesterday by treasurer of the school’s Board of Management, Temenggong Dato Vincent Lau Lee Ming.
