SIBU: A soldier was injured after the car he was driving crashed into a tree at Jalan Deshon here yesterday morning. It was believed that the victim’s car had gone out control, skidded and crashed into the tree at the road shoulder before overturning in the middle of the road.
Seven firemen from Sg Merah fire station led by PB Mohd Ikmal Abdullah were deployed to the scene after they received an emergency call at 11.23am.
Upon arrival, the firemen extricated the victim who was pinned to his seat and handed him over to medical assistants for further treatment.
