KUCHING: Main Committee of the Sri Aman Benak Fest 2017 yesterday made a courtesy on the Head of State Tun Pehin Sri Abdul Tai b Mahmud at Astana Negeri in Kuching.
The courtesy call led by Assistant Minister of Community Well being Datuk Francis Harden Hollis who is also the Advisor of the Sri Aman Benak Fest 2017 Main Committee aimed to invite Tun Taib to be present at the Pesta Benak Sri Aman from this coming 3 till 5 November at the Batang Lupar Waterfront.
Various interesting events have been lined up for the three-day festival including Batang Lupar Benak Regatta, Benak Bazaar, Benak Stage Show (Pentas Budaya Ria), Benak Surfing (Luncur Benak), Army Wi th The Communi ty, Benak Bikers Gathering, Benak Kebaya Queen, Miss Tourism Benak, Mr Benak and telematch or sukan rakyat.
Apart from that, events such as Sri Aman Kitchen and Birds’ Contest are also featured. Also joining the call were Sri Aman Resident In d i t Ba ng a i , and its District Officer Ismawie Salleh.
