KUCHING: A stolen four wheel drive vehicle was found in Bau after the driver lost control of it and collided with a car yesterday morning.
The owner of the stolen 4WD vehicle aged 35 said he had gone for breakfast at 8.30 am with his friends at a coffee shop at Jalan Datuk Tawi Sri here and when the owner went to fetch the vehicle he was shocked to find it missing.
He then lodged a police report and also informed his friends of the matter. At about 10 am, his friends told him that the stolen 4WD vehicle was found at Kampung Grogo, Bau after it collided with a car.
The villagers said after the collision they saw two men running out from the stolen 4WD vehicle. The 4WD vehicle was later towed to a pol ice station for further investigation.
