KUCHING: Officers from the Land and Survey Department will visit Tchee Foh Hin personally to get further details on his request for a house.

Yesterday, Milton Foo, secretary-general of SUPP Central Executive Committee, paid a visit to the Land and Survey Department and submitted documents of land application to the officer-in-charge.

Tchee FohHin, 66, asked for assistance from PBB Deputy Youth chief Fazzruddin Abdul Rahman and Foo during a visit by GPS Youth team to his dilapidated house at Stampin Resettlement Area Sunday.

They made the visit following the death of Tchee’s son in a gas explosion in CityOne Megamall on December 4.

Tchee hoped that the State government would help him get a piece of land in Stampin Resettlement Area for building his new house.

Foo expressed his gratitude and complimented the Land and Survey fordealing with the matter.

He also extended his appreciation to Fazzruddin who is also Tupong State Assemblyman as well as Local Government and Housing Minister Datuk Dr. Sim Kui Hian for helping to bring the matter to Chief
Minister Datuk Patinggi Abang Johari, and hoped that Sarawak government would grant Tchee a place to call his own.
