KUCHING: Three persons were arrested for drugs under Section 39(A) of the Dangerous Drug Act 1952 with the seizure of numerous packets of drugs yesterday. The arrested was made at 1.50 am a t a ho t e l i n Batu Kawa when a pol ice team from Padawan went to a room and arrested two females and a male.
Seized from them were 12 different packets of drugs believed to be syabu weighing 11.54 grams placed in a black box in the hotel room. Market value of the drugs is RM1,500.
One of the two females was aged 21 from Jalan Penrissen while the other was aged 39 from Kota Sentosa whereas the male was aged 28 from Taee, Serian. All three admitted they took syabu before and were detained for questioning.
