KUCHING : Zhu Sze Kung Temple, a popular Chinese temple in Tabuan Laru here, has lined up a series of activities to celebrate its deity’s birthday from 29 April to 1 May, 2017.
The three-day event is also to commemorate the 8th anniversary of the place of worship.
A temple spokesman said at 6.00pm from 29 April to 1 May, there would be a karaoke competition and performances by a folk dance troupe and a lion dance troupe to entertain devotees and visitors. Vegetarian noodles will be served on the third day as well.
Every night, prizes will be presented to the lucky draw winners who have to collect their numbers after making their offerings to the deity. Zhu Sze Kung Temple invites all members of the public to attend the celebration and to pray for peace, security, prosperity, family harmony and good health.
