MIRI: Police on Tuesday discovered three stolen Perodua Kancil including dismantled parts in Piasau Industrial Estate area following the arrest of three local men.
All suspects both in their 20’s are currently being detained and under police custody for questioning.
The arrest was made following a public tip-off received earlier on the group’s whereabouts.
For the record, early this month, police had discovered a Perodua Kancil after a 15 minute-chase of two suspect which ended up by the roadside of RPR Batu 6 here but the suspects managed to flee off.
It was believed that the two men who escaped were the suspects from the same case . Police investigation revealed that Perodua Kancil had become the main target of thieves as the car is relatively cheap and has a ready market.
