KUCHING: Trunk Sale 7, the city’s biggest pre-loved community market, is back this November 10 and 11 at Emart Batu Kawa.

The event aims to promote moderate living among the people of Kuching and encourage a sense of coming together as a community.

With 96 vendors, or ‘trunkers’ as they are called, there is a myriad of treasures to be found such as clothing and trinkets, decorative items, books, vintage items, household goods, and more.

There will also be art exhibitions as well as various food and beverage vendors. During the night, local performers will entertain the crowd with covers of popular songs as well as originals.

Trunk doors open at 1pm to 10pm, and entry is free. For updates, visit their Facebook page at www.facebook.com/kchtrunksale or buzz them at 016-8462688.

Trunk Sale 7 is organised by The Champions, The Filmmakers Company in collaboration with Emart Batu Kawa, Borneo Media Works, Sound Art, Worming Up, Kuching-Rental, Prosales ERA.fm, MY.fm, and HITZ.fm.

Apart from that, a special charity trunk will be opened to the public where 100 percent of sales will hands over to the Indigenous Digital Outreach Programme (iDOP), an endeavour by The Champions in collaboration with Miss World Malaysia and Sarawak Multimedia Authority (SMA), for their efforts in empowering digital education to the Orang Ulu children in the rural parts of Sarawak.
