Tun M to speak at PH ‘ceramah’ this coming Sunday

KUCHING:   Former Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamed  who is now Pakatan Harapan (PH) chairman will be coming  to Kuching to attend and speak  in the Sarawak Pakatan Harapan’s ceramah on this  coming Sunday (24th September)  at  7pm to 10.30pm at the carpark area infront  of the Everrise Departmental Store BDC Kuching.

Beside Tun Mahathir, the other national Pakatan Harapan leaders, Lim Kit Siang (DAP)  and Dr Hatta (AMANAH) will  also attend the event and share with the people on the political development in West Malaysia.

“This is the first visit of Tun Mahathir to Sarawak in his capacity as the chairman of Pakatan Harapan. He visited Sarawak many times when he was the Prime Minister, but as a leader of  the Opposition, this will be his first visit,” Chong  Chieng Jen , Sarawak Pakatan Harapan Chairman told a press conference at DAP Sarawak headquarters here yesterday.

“We are sure he has a lot to share with us why, having for the most part of his life served as a leader of UMNO/BN, he now, at  the age of 92, decides to resign from UMNO and fight UMNO/BN,” Chong added.

“We appeal to all Sarawakians, not only  those staying  in Kuching area, to attend the ceramah,” he said.
