KUCHING: A house owner at Hua Joo Park reported that his house was broken into on Monday morning while he was out.
He said when he returned home he was surprised to discover that his house was in a mess and items valued at RM1,000 were missing.
He said after checking footage of CCTVs installed at the house, he saw a man unknown to him took a key he left outside to enter the house and came out with a 50-inch LCD television set.
It was the third time that his house was broken into and he is now worried of another break-in.
In a separate case, a 70-year-old man from Mabel Garden said his house was broken into and RM2,000 in cash and RM18,000 of gold jewelry were stolen early last Sunday morning.
Thieves have entered the house through a kitchen window at the rear by cutting the iron grilles.
Police are investigating both cases.
