SIBU: University College of Technology Sarawak (UCTS) successfully held its fourth Open Day last weekend in an effort to attract school leavers and the public to know more about courses it offered.

The open day was held last weekend on Saturday, 8 April from 9am to 9pm, and Sunday, 9 April from 9am to 2pm.

Various attractive and fun activities were held where the visitors also joined in.
Among the activities were car exhibition, colouring contest, zumba dance, PS4 Fifa 17 video game contest, cat exhibition and Miss UCTS Contest.

Beside sport activities and indoor games, health activities were also held such as free health screening and blood donation drive.

UCTS also provides consultancy counter for those wishing to apply for bachelor’s degree programmes and foundation programmes at UCTS.

An exhibition counter relating to courses offered at UCTS was also open to parents and students interested in learning more about UCTS.

UCTS Open Day 2017 with the theme, ‘Feel the Difference’ also offered attractive prizes for visitors through lucky draws.

Various types of food and beverages were also sold at reasonable prices by hawkers at UCTS’ compound.
