KUCHING: Serian BOMBA receiving a distress call at 3.55pm last Saturday informing them that a retail shop at Kpg Jenan, Jalan Baki- Riih, Serian belonging to Jugah Anak Marin, 57, was on fire.
Following the call, Serian BOMBA immediately dispatched seven firefighters in two vehicles led by PBKII Sim Mui Chai to the scene. Upon arrival at the scene, the firefighters found out that a shop has been destroyed in a fire.
The firefighters managed to put out the fire completely at 5.37pm. No casualty was reported. Serian BOMBA also want to thank the Police and SESCo personnel who were involved in the operation. The cause of fire is still under investigation.
