Vivacity donations benefit six charitable bodies

KUCHING: A total of six charitable bodies benefited from donations totalling RM30,000 from Vivacity Megamall, yesterday.

The donation was in conjunction with the 3rd Anniversary of Vivacity Megamall and was graced by Kuching South City Council (MBKS) Mayor Datuk James Chan Khay Syn.

The charitable bodies are Sarawak Society for the Blind, Sarawak Children’s Cancer Society, Sarawak Society for Parents of Children with Special Needs (PIBAKAT), Persatuan Kebajikan Kanak-Kanak Terencat Akal Sarawak (PERKATA), the Kuching Autistic Association and Sarawak Heart Foundation.

Each body received RM5,000 donation to finance their activities and for purchasing their necessities for daily operation.

According to Chan, Vivacity Megamall has added attraction to the Kuching city since its establishment and becomes one of the top shopping destinations for many locals and tourists alike.

Also featured is the Grand Draw for its 3rd Anniversary Reward which a total of five grand prizes and five consolation prizes  given away to the lucky winners.

Also present were Vivacity Centre Manager Jonathan Naming and Vivacity Director Sim Yaw Hang.
