KANOWIT: Ngemah assemblyman Anyi Jana has several development plans in the pipeline for his constituency which include infrastructure, education, economy and youth.

According to a news report from the Sarawak Public Communication Unit (UKAS), among those planned so far is the construction of a mini stadium in the RASCOM Nanga Ngungun Resettlement Scheme, redevelopment of the fish pond project and the cemetery site for the Nanga Ngungun Resettlement Scheme.

Anyi said the construction of the mini stadium aims to make it easier for the youth and the local community to play sports and, at the same time, improve their health.

He added that the project to redevelop the existing fish pond in Nanga Ngungun had been established previously but has now been stalled.

“This redevelopment plan is to improve the socio-economics of the community in Nanga Ngungun.

“As for the cemetery site in Nanga Ngungun area, it is hoped that the Village Development and Security Committee (JKKK) of RASCOM Nanga Ngungun will hold a meeting and discuss the matter.
