KUCHING: R&B and pop jazz songstress Ning Baizura stole the limelight at the third edition of Kuching Jazz Waterfront Festival (KWJF) 2019 on Friday night.

Draped in a long maroon dress, Ning, known for her trademark vocal acrobatics, was richly flawless, hitting both highs and the lows with ease and style.

The crowd sang along with her when she rendered ‘Kau dan Aku’.

Ning also did a duet with Indonesia’s king of jazz Harvey Malaihollo who was her special guest.

Malaysian-Chinese Bossa Nova singer Z Yan entertained the crowd with a number of Chinese songs.

Other acts that night were home-grown talent, The Fingerints, who won KWJF Jazz Band Search 2019, Shanghai jazz fusion local artiste Z Yan, the duo Xanaduduo, and Q Sound from the United States, and Saxx in The City.
