KUALA LUMPUR: Ninja Van Malaysia is accelerating automation and other operational improvements in line with its eighth anniversary.

Through its eighth anniversary campaign ‘Ninja Van Malaysia Turns 8: Celebr8ing Innov9ion’, the tech-enabled express logistics company is further reiterating its commitment to providing hassle-free deliveries for shippers and shoppers in Malaysia.

According to chief executive officer Adzim Halim, Ninja Van Malaysia has established itself as one of the most reliable logistics providers in the country since 2015.

Having served over 15 million parcel recipients in the last 12 months, he said they also provided 100 per cent coverage nationwide, and almost 5,700 Pick Up & Drop Off (PUDO) points were put in place to bring both shippers and shoppers a quicker and more seamless delivery experience.

In January last year, Ninja Van Malaysia announced the launch of its 260,000 square feet hub in Shah Alam, which is their biggest hub yet.

“With the newly added integrated automation system, the parcel sorting process can now weigh, measure, and scan up to 30,000 parcels per hour.

“The system also provides accurate real-time parcel data, increasing sorting and parcel tracking efficiency.

“As a result, the daily parcel processing capability is projected to increase by almost 35 per cent,” he said on Wednesday (Feb 22).
Adzim said by automating the way parcels are processed, they were able to provide a faster and more secure service for the shippers and shoppers.

“We trust that these improvements are also in line with the country’s dedication in classifying logistics as a priority industry, tech-driven innovations such as automation are crucial to the advancement of the local logistics industry as well as the overall digital economy, which has been identified as one of the country’s key economic pillars.

“Having been there from the start since 2014, we’ve had the front-row seat to Southeast Asian (SEA) e-commerce evolution, which allows us to do our part in uplifting the industry.

“We are committed to nurturing an ecosystem that provides value-added services and tools to meet the needs of all our users,” he stressed.
