KUALA LUMPUR: The National Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) is committed to help improve occupational safety and health (OSH) in Malaysia in collaboration with local and foreign organisations, its chairman, Tan Sri Lee Lam Thye, said yesterday.

He said in a statement that NIOSH signed a memorandum of collaboration (MoC) with the United Kingdom-based Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH) at the 33rd Asia Pacific Occupational Safety and Health Organisation’s annual conference in Hong Kong recently.

“Under the MoC, both parties have agreed to advance high professional standards and share information and knowledge on principles, competence and best practices across a variety of key OSH areas and issues, including commuting accidents and working at height and confined space.  – Bernama
