No more EMCO for seven locations

KUCHING: The Sarawak Disaster Management Committee (SDMC) announced the end of the enhanced movement control order (EMCO) in seven locations.

The EMCO at Rumah Dullah in Sungai Tuwah in Kanowit and Rumah Jali, Sungai Maong in Machan is expected to end today (June 12).

In Mukah, the restriction is also expected to be lifted for Rumah Undum Anchih in Sungai Duan, Rumah Rumong Kilat, Rumah Bija Unggang and Rumah Asin Aji on the same date.

In addition to that, Rumah Jackson, Batu 16, Jalan Oya in Sibu is also expecting to end its EMCO period today, said SDMC in a statement today (June 11).

Meanwhile, the committee has decided to impose the EMCO at Kampung Baru in Kota Samarahan which is in effect until June 24.

The EMCO will also be imposed at Rumah Juliana, Sungai Kabu in Sarikei today (June 12) until June 28.

Apart from that the SDMC has decided to extend the EMCO at Rumah Garai, Sungai Minus Jakar in Sarikei from June 15 until June 17.
