KUCHING: According to Barisan Nasional (BN) candidate for Petra Jaya Datuk Seri Fadillah Yusof there is no professionalism among opposition parties in Malaysia. “We say that the problem in Malaysia is that we don’t have opposition parties that are professional. “We do not have opposition parties that hold on to ethics and follow what have been already set down,” he said.

He said this to reporters at Kampung Samariang Batu here yesterday. Meanwhile, when asked how the campaign environment is like in Petra Jaya after campaigning for nearly a week, Fadillah said that he liked what he had seen so far.

“It’s more vibrant with flags, posters, banners, and billboards all over which shows that democracy is alive in Sarawak; for me this shows something good. “Hopefully in terms of the movement of the Barisan Nasional (BN) machinery, we are all working hard enough to show the grassroots community our policities through the manifesto that has to be explained.

“This is BN’s commitment; to bring good to the people of the state,” he said. Fadillah arrived after the closing ceremony of the ‘Quick Win Catering Course’ which was attended by his wife Datin Seri Ruziah Mohd Tahir. During the event, 15 participants were awarded with certificates as well as equipment to help start up their catering businesses.
