KUCHING: Members of the public are advised that walk-in vaccinations will not be accepted at Covid-19 Vaccination Administration Centres (PPV) for AstraZeneca in Kuching and Miri.
The PPV at the Borneo Convention Centre Kuching (BCCK) and the National Youth Skills Institute (IKBN) in Miri only accept individuals who have received prior appointments using the MySejahtera application.
Covid-19 One Stop Centre, commander-in-chief Dr Cheong Yaw Liang, stated in a statement that walk-ins will not be accepted for vaccination at these centres.
On a related issue, Dr Cheong advised individuals to disregard any WhatsApp messages requesting personal information for vaccination purposes.
“Vaccination centres do not use such a platform to inform the public about any aspect of vaccinations,” he said.
