SIBU: The Junior Chamber International (JCI) 10 Outstanding Young Malaysian Awards (TOYM) 2017 is now open for nominations.
The closing date for nomination is 15 June, 2017.
Main objective of TOYM is to accord recognition to the outstanding youth as an inspiration and incentive to others.
This year, TOYM 2017 will be organised by JCI Malaysia and hosted by the Junior Chamber International Kuala Lumpur Mandarin (JCIKLIM).
Participation is open to all Malaysians aged between 18 and 40 years on 1 January, 2017 and participants can nominate themselves for nomination.
Each of the candidate shall represent one of the 10 fields competed for this year, namely business economics and/or entrepreneurial accomplishment; political, legal and/or governmental affairs; academic leadership and/or accomplishment; cultural achievement; moral and/or religious leadership; contribution to children, world peace and/or human rights; humanitarian and/or voluntary service; scientific and/or technological development; personal development and/or accomplishment; and medical innovation.

TOYM award winners will represent Malaysia to compete with winners from 122 countries throughout the world to win the highest award of ‘Outstanding Young Person (TOYP) of the world’.
