KUCHING: Nominations for the upcoming Sarawak Hornbill Tourism Awards (SHTA) 2024 have finally opened.
According to the Sarawak Tourism Federation (STF), nominations are now open to the public, allowing members of the tourism industry to recognise and applaud the efforts of their favourite tourism providers.
“The excitement is building as the STF, in collaboration with the Ministry of Tourism, Creative Industry, and Performing Arts, Sarawak, under the theme ‘Wind of Resilience’, prepares to celebrate excellence and innovation in the local tourism industry.
“The prestigious awards ceremony, scheduled for Sept 27 and officiated by Premier Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg, will honour outstanding individuals, organisations, and communities that have made significant contributions to enhancing the tourism experience in Sarawak.”
In conjunction with the opening of nominations, the Working Committee of SHTA is excited to invite industry members to participate in upcoming SHTA Engagement Sessions scheduled in three cities: Sibu, Bintulu, and Miri.
“These engagement sessions will feature networking opportunities and presentations on the SHTA 2019-2023.”
Nomination forms can be found at https://shta.com.my/ and must be submitted either online or offline by April 30.
