KUCHING: Natural Resources and Environment Board (NREB) is in the midst of investigating the cause of a large number of dead fish found along Sarawak River.
It is learned the dead fish were discovered last Friday with foul smell emanating along the Kuching Waterfront.
Urban Planning, Land Administration and Environment Assistant Minister Datuk Len Talif Salleh said NREB has been instructed to investigate the matter.
Thus far NREB is uncertain whether the case was due to water contamination in the river.
