KUCHING: Chief Minister Datuk Patinggi Abang Johari Tun Openg received a courtesy call from a Malaysian Nuclear Agency (ANM) delegation led by its director-general, Dr Mohd Abdul Wahab Yusof at his office in Wisma Bapa Malaysia here on Thursday (Sept 10).
During the visit, the discussion focused on collaboration to further explore the aspects of technology and expertise in nuclear technology with the state government.
The collaboration can be adapted into various fields including education, agriculture and so on.
It was pointed out that collaboration and participation from nuclear technology expertise would benefit Sarawakians as a whole.
Also present were ANM directors, Rosleezam Jamaudin (Management Services) and Dr Abdul Rahim Harun (Agro Bioscience), Corporate Communication manager, Hasfazilah Hassan as well as research officers, Dr Julie Andrianny Murshidi, Mohd Faizal Abdul Rahman and Hazizi Omar.
