KUCHING: Ten residents of the Sarawak Hun Nam Siang Tng nursing home will get to see a charity concert organised by the Lions Club of Kuching One Earth next month.

In a press statement issued on Saturday (Oct 28) it said members of the club paid a visit to Sarawak Hun Nam Siang Tng president Tay Boon Sin and exchanged ideas on collaborating with each other in serving the community.

“Ten residents of Sarawak Hun Nam Siang Tng will have the privilege to watch the musical performance “Reminiscence of Roses” on Nov 15.

“Lions Club of Kuching One Earth is undertaking the major fundraising event, for the purpose of funding the Divine Will Society Dialysis Centre (DWSDC) at Kota Sentosa, here,” the club said.

The charity concert is being billed as the biggest musical production in Kuching history with over 70 performers, 21 of them from the Singapore Chinese Orchestra, with a backdrop of ‘old Shanghai.’
