KUCHING: Except for a few, Pakatan Harapan (PH) leaders were dreamers and inexperienced in governing the nation, said Deputy Chief Minister Tan Sri Dr James Jemut Masing.
He said most of the leaders just wanted to gain positions or posts and did not know how to administer the country.
“The PH manifesto was conceived during their ‘dream times’, so when they woke up, reality sets in. That is when their troubles began. And that was the cause of their downfall after being in power for less than two years,” he said in a statement last Saturday.
Masing, who is Baleh assemblyman, said this in response to a comment by former International Trade and Industry Minister Tan Sri Rafidah Aziz who said that PH’s biggest mistake was having a ‘fat manifesto’.
Rafidah said that during her time with Barisan Nasional (BN), the coalition never had a big manifesto.
