One illegal immigrant, three stolen motorbikes detained

SERIKIN: The hard work and continuous surveillance work by the 13th Royal Malay Regiment (13RAMD) led by Lt Col Ismahizan bin Ishak at Sarawak/Kalimantan border at Serikin have yielded success.

This team managed to detain one lllegal immigrant together with three motorcycles that were believed stolen while checking at the ‘lorong tikus’ or ‘mice trail’ (escape route) in Serikin on 12 April at 4pm.

The illegal immigrant and the motorcycles have been taken to the Bau Police Station for further action. Those seized items (motorbikes) are estimatedly valued at RM26,000, according to a press release from Lt Muhammad Khawarizmi bin Abdul Shukor.
